How Much RPM should a car idle at?

2. Fouled spark plugs

To ignite the mixture of air and fuel in the combustion chamber, spark plugs are required. These plugs may become clogged or dirty over time. 

That’s why it’s important to replace the spark plugs at regular intervals. A bad spark plug can cause the engine to run at an incorrect RPM, which could lead to the engine stalling.

3. Dirty Air Filter

This is also true for the engine's air filter. Regular maintenance should include changing the engine air filter every so often.
