You will hear the strut make a clicking sound when you bump into something. This noise can increase over time as the strut’s internal components, such as the shock absorbers and bushings, also wear out.

The coil spring is included in the struts. Your car will be held up by the coil springs at a particular height. Your car may be tilted to one end if the coil spring fails.
