EZ Pass NJ Discounts

1. Senior Citizens Plan

This discount plan is available to anyone over 65. To apply, you will be required to produce proof of your identity.

2. Green Pass Plan

The trailer discount gives you a 10% discount on your full fare and off-peak tolls. However, it’s only valid on the Garden State Parkway. 

What happens if NJ EZ Pass is not used?

If you make a mistake and drive through the EZ Pass lane without the transponder, there’s no need to worry. The bill will be sent to you by mail. It is determined by the registration number.

However, there won’t be a toll discount on the bill. The full amount is your responsibility. Plus, you will incur a penalty if you don’t pay the bill by the specified due date.

How can I cancel my NJEZ Pass

To cancel an EZ Pass account you may mail your transponder tag to the customer support center. You will need to sign this statement stating that you wish to close your account. You must sign it.

After the center has received the notification with the transponder they will reimburse the balance and any other rights back to your original payment method. Your deposit should be returned if it was required for opening the account. If you send back damaged tags, additional fees could apply.
