  • Every year, NASCAR has two Sprint Cup Series races at the Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn, Michigan. The majority of overnight fans invade the numerous campgrounds surrounding the Michigan International Speedway for a very normal camping experience. Why Settle for a Normal camping experience, when you can camp at DarkSyde Acres Haunted Campground, Located just 20 minutes west of the Speedway, for a Exciting and Uniquely Different Camping experience. We own DarkSyde Acres Haunted House, located just outside of downtown Jonesville, Michigan. Although we typically only open during the summer for special events, we have decided to open the 40 acre property for NASCAR Race weekend fans over these 2 weekends each year. Unlike some nearby properties that command a 7 night stay, We offer 1-2-3 night packages for a fraction of what some of the other properties are charging. DarkSyde Acres Haunted Campgrounds has a Very Limited amount of campsites available for the 2010 season and unlike any other nearby properties, we have a Saturday Pre-Race multi event for you and your friends to partake in while not at the MIS Michigan International Speedway. Each Saturday, DarkSyde Acres will host the following, Morning FleaMarket/Swapmeet, Afternoon Car Show, Evening HogRoast followed by a Pre-race Monster MardiGras Party, ending with a special preview of DarkSyde Acres Haunted House for the 2010 season. DarkSyde Acres is the place to be in 2010, reserve your campsite now!
